Job summary

JanSport, a VF brand, seeks a Director of Global Marketing to lead the global strategy and translate brand vision into integrated programs that drive growth. You will guide a high-performing team and collaborate with Creative, Product, Merchandising, regional marketing, ecommerce, sales, and agencies to maintain a consistent global brand with local relevance.

You will champion AI-enabled insights, measurement, and innovative campaigns while managing budgets and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Formal education in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is valuable, but equivalent experience is also welcome.
• About 10 years of progressive brand marketing experience, including meaningful people leadership, will help you succeed in this role.
• Experience leading global brand strategy and integrated marketing programs that strengthen cultural relevance and business results.
• Experience with artificial intelligence in marketing workflows, with responsible practices for privacy and brand safety.
• Strong ability to measure marketing performance and translate insights into clear actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global marketing strategy and annual plan, aligning consumer insight, brand priorities, and business goals.
• Turn priorities into integrated campaigns, launch plans, partnerships, and experiences that drive demand and affinity.
• Lead full‑funnel campaigns across earned, owned, paid, retail, ecommerce, social, and influencer channels.
• Develop consumer insights through research and analytics, translating learning into action.
• Champion responsible use of AI across marketing workflows with privacy, bias, and safety standards.
• Create global alignment with regional teams and adaptable messaging frameworks.
• Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team while managing agency partners and budget.
• Stay ahead of culture and tech trends to keep the brand relevant and impactful.
