Job summary

Walmart in Bentonville, AR seeks a Senior Manager, Technology Strategy to translate country-specific requirements into scalable capability plans and coordinate cross-functional launches across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance and Operations.

You will develop market expansion playbooks, assess jurisdictional complexity, and help determine global-versus-local operating models for each market, enabling faster, more scalable executions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering/business/strategy or related field with 8+ years' experience.
• Alternatively, 10 years' experience in retail, eCommerce, strategy, operations or related area.
• Proven ability to manage complex programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead global technology capability development for scalable earnings, tax, and controls model.
• Assess market/jurisdictional complexity and implications.
• Build/maintain market expansion playbooks and readiness frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional readiness across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, capability gaps, and resourcing needs before launch.
• Support go/no-go and scale-readiness decisions with data-driven recommendations.
• Define balance of global standards with local market requirements.
• Create reusable capabilities to speed future market expansions.
