Job summary

ITW EAE is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for external customers and distributors seeking technical assistance with equipment and spare parts needs.

You will troubleshoot, escalate complex problems, coordinate on-site service with the Field Service Manager, and provide feedback to Engineering to improve components, while traveling domestically up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical or field service experience.
• Troubleshoot and isolate mechanical, electrical, and system faults.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and service teams in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for timely resolution.
• Assist with general product information and parts identification.
• Coordinate and schedule on-site service with Field Service Manager.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on high-failure components.
• Review and recommend spare parts inventory to reduce downtime.
• Log Out of Box Quality issues for factory quality review.
