Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Director, Manufacturing Strategy to shape global manufacturing plans across ME&C sites. You will collaborate with senior leadership, operations, quality, and supply chain to align objectives and drive efficiency.

This role requires 15+ years in manufacturing strategy and a strong regulatory and GMP background. You will partner with regional leaders to implement regional initiatives, manage site selection, and lead financial planning processes for ME&C.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Significant GMP manufacturing, quality operations, CMC development, and regulatory knowledge.
• 15+ years in manufacturing operations, strategy, or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across ME&C sites.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and multiple functions to align plans.
• Manage ME&C site selection and make-buy processes.
• Establish goals, KPIs, and monitoring tools for strategic projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Lead LRP processes for the SVP of Manufacturing with robust financials.
• Partner with regional Strategy Directors to align ME&C strategy.
• Evaluate contingency plans and risk management strategies.
• Develop tools and decks for monitoring financial performance at senior levels.
• Collaborate with regional VPs and Site Heads on regional initiatives.
