Job summary

CS Power Systems is seeking a 6-month contract Documentation Specialist – Manufacturing & Sales Operations to document and standardize processes across our global organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations to capture workflows and develop SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.

This role focuses on transforming complex processes into clear, scalable documentation to support operational excellence and compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing and process documentation.
• Experience documenting manufacturing processes, SOPs, or quality procedures.
• Strong information-gathering via interviews, observation, and collaboration.
• Excellent written communication, editing, and organization skills.
• Experience creating process maps and visual documentation.

Responsibilities

• Document existing processes and develop standardized procedures with cross-functional teams.
• Create, edit, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
• Interview SMEs and observe operations to capture workflows accurately.
• Translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Develop flow diagrams and training materials to improve knowledge transfer.
• Support ISO standards, audits, and continual improvement documentation.
• Establish document control standards and governance processes.
• Collaborate with global teams to standardize documents.
