Job summary

USP is seeking a Senior Technical Director, Global Manufacturing Programs to lead end-to-end technical oversight of MedSuRe and related initiatives. The role guides cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with donor objectives.

The position requires an advanced degree (Ph.D. or MS) in a related field and at least 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing, with a strong track record in leadership, technology

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree in a related field (PhD or MS).
• Demonstrated leadership over programs in pharma/biotech/manufacturing.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership on MedSuRe and other programs.
• Oversee technical execution across matrixed teams and milestones.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices for consistency and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues to Department Head.
• Monitor technical performance and report milestones and risks to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical approaches and delivery models.
