Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs within Global Manufacturing. You will develop project plans and coordinate with Technology, Product Management, and other departments to ensure successful hand-offs and rollout to high-volume manufacturing.

The role requires 1–5 years in Program Management, familiarity with MS Project and related tools, and a strong focus on delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering required.
• 1 – 5 years’ experience in Program Management.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing environment providing NP/Process PM.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
• 1 Year’s TOC/CCPM Program Management Experience preferred.
• Concerto software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds project plans around the Global Manufacturing project portfolio.
• Owns overall project schedule; drives projects to completion on-time and on-budget.
• Builds interfaces between organizations for successful hand-offs.
• Negotiate project goals and mitigation plans.
• Manage program review meetings, track action items and motivate stakeholders.
• Maintain software infrastructure to keep plans and action items up to date.
