Job summary

Pure Storage is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead process development, validation, and continuous improvement for server and storage product lines. You will direct a global engineering team, partnering with Contract Manufacturers, Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations to deliver scalable, high-yield production systems.

You will drive DFM, PFMEA, and risk mitigation while shaping the technology roadmap and ensuring quality, throughput, delivery, and safety.

Qualifications

Technical foundation in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering concepts.
Hands-on expertise in PCBA (L6) and System Level (L10) manufacturing.
Proven track record of leading engineering talent and teams.
Lean/Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC knowledge and practical application.
In-office environment; Houston partner manufacturing office presence as required.

Responsibilities

Define scalable manufacturing process strategies for NPIs with Contract Manufacturers.
Direct and grow a team of manufacturing engineers for high-performance output.
Embed DF(M) principles with Design Engineering; execute PFMEAs and preventive controls.
Establish a long-term manufacturing process technology roadmap with partners.
Collaborate across Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Contract Manufacturers.
