Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a growing manufacturing company in the RTP area. You will partner across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to own product cost visibility and gross margin analysis.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for product costs and inventory, driving cost transparency and strong financial controls across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Strong manufacturing cost accounting background with standard costing and variance analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Progressive finance leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to partner with Supply Chain and Operations across multi-site or global orgs.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial oversight of product costs, inventory valuation, and gross margin performance globally.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations leadership to improve cost transparency.
• Analyze standard costs, manufacturing variances, inventory movements, and overhead allocations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for product costs, inventory, and operations spending.
• Ensure consistency in costing methodologies, reporting, and financial controls across regions.
• Support new product introductions, sourcing initiatives, and cost analyses for projects.
• Oversee month-end close activities related to inventory, cost of sales, reserves, accruals.
• Enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytics to improve cost visibility and performance.
