Job summary

TERREPOWER is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to build a scalable finance organization to support its global expansion. Reporting to the CAO and closely partnering with the CFO, the Controller will standardize accounting policies, strengthen controls, and modernize reporting to deliver accurate financial information to senior management, equity owners, and lenders.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 5+ years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role.
Active CPA certification required.
Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory; private equity or publicly traded global manufacturing exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure financial controls, processes, and reporting meet audit/regulatory standards.
Partner with external auditors to maintain GAAP/IAS compliance and lender requirements.
Oversee financial reporting and disclosures with accuracy and timeliness.
Lead monthly close improvements to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy.
Collaborate with CAO/CFO and senior management to execute a finance vision aligned with North America goals.
Develop and implement financial systems and reporting tools for timely insights.
Own Controller function for North America and support global finance leadership.
Ensure alignment of global operations with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial transparency and efficiency.
Navigate multi-country operations, understanding local tax/compliance requirements.
