Job summary

Gestamp is seeking a Maintenance Technician to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across production lines. You will follow standardized work instructions, perform quality checks, and rapidly diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus PLCs and robotics. A manufacturing background and OSHA compliance are essential as you help drive equipment

Qualifications

• Advanced technical training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standardized Work Instructions.
• Quality checks and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment during downtime or production.
• Perform preventive maintenance and setup for scheduled runs.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required service.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health Rules.
• Communicate issues requiring downtime.
• Support performance metrics and improvement targets.
