Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, adjust and install plant equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will support electrical, mechanical and automated systems, including stamping presses and production cells.

Ideal candidates have PLC and robot programming experience, a journeyman card and a track record of improving quality and productivity through proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3 years+ of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Prefer journeyman card.
• Able to troubleshoot PLC programs.
• Able to set and verify parameters for resistance, MIG and TIG welders.
• Able to program and troubleshoot robots (FANUC, ABB, Nachi, Motoman).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses.
• Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Install new machinery as required.
• Ensure equipment maintenance log is completed.
• Operate an overhead crane and lift truck and maintain a license to do so.
