Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Supplier Manager to partner with Engineering, Procurement, Category Management and Sourcing to refine the machining supply base strategy, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Machining Category Management.

You will drive supplier strategy, manage key supplier engagements, and oversee master agreements while improving supply chain efficiency and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain; master's preferred.
• 5+ years of supplier management experience in machining or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the machining category strategy.
• Serve as single point of contact for key strategic suppliers.
• Negotiate lowest total cost of ownership and best price.
• Manage master supply agreement lifecycle from templates to updates.
• Lead supplier performance reviews using scorecards.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to support continuity.
