Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Global Supplier Manager to partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Sourcing to refine the machining supply base strategy. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Global Machining Category Management and drive supplier performance, contract negotiations, and continuity programs.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in supplier management within machining, familiarity with Oracle or SAP, and CPIM/APICS certification is a plus. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 5+ years of related supplier management experience in machining or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the machining category strategy.
• Serve as the single point of contact for strategic suppliers.
• Negotiate total cost of ownership, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage master supply agreements from templates and conduct reviews.
• Lead supplier performance via quarterly business reviews and scorecards.
• Identify new suppliers and support supplier ramp-up and continuity strategies.
• Communicate strategy, risk plans, and improvements to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
