Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Global Supplier Manager to partner with Engineering, Procurement, Category Management and Sourcing to drive the machining supply base strategy.

You will manage supplier agreements, lead supplier performance reviews, and drive cost, delivery, and agility improvements while ensuring business continuity. The role requires 5+ years of supplier management in machining, CPIM/APICS certification preferred, and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supplier management experience in machining.
• Experience developing supplier and supply chain strategies.
• CPIM/APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and SAP procurement modules.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Experience managing machine shop contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine machining category strategy.
• Single point of contact for strategic machining suppliers.
• Improve supply chain efficiency and negotiate total cost of ownership.
• Manage master supply agreements and contract reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance with scorecards and quarterly reviews.
• Lead dual sourcing and new supplier identification.
• Communicate category strategy and risk mitigation to stakeholders.
• Support sourcing activities and new supplier introductions.
• Travel up to 25% of time.
