Job summary

Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. in Clinton, TN is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Machining/Assembly engineering initiatives in a die casting environment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and innovation.

The role requires strong project planning, process design, and process control expertise, plus readiness to travel internationally 1–2 weeks to collaborate with global teams and suppliers. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7–10 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, and process optimization.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Familiarity with IATF and ISO Standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development of Machining and Assembly projects.
• Develop annual and semi-annual action plans aligned with company initiatives.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects and carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry, company standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Train and mentor engineering staff on best practices in machining/assembly.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Submit proposals to management for funding from the department budget.
