Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a driven corporate development finance lead to manage the financial due diligence process, assess target health, and provide insights to shape deal negotiations.

You will ensure ASC 805 GAAP alignment, lead cross-functional integration across R2R, Payroll, Q2C, and P2P, and standardize M&A accounting for scalable post-acquisition processes.

This role requires 6+ years in SaaS/tech finance with Big 4 exposure; CPA and MBA a plus; SAP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a core business function; MBA preferred
• CPA or equivalent a plus with 6+ years of Big 4 and industry experience
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, ASC 805, for complex M&A
• Experience leading cross-functional acquisition integration
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and influence stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, innovative, results-driven project execution

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial due diligence with external advisors and analyze data to verify target health and inform deal negotiations
• Perform ASC 805 accounting from purchase price to fair value allocation with external specialists
• Review target accounting for GAAP compliance and align with company policies during integration
• Project manage finance integration across global workstreams (R2R, Payroll, Q2C, P2P) with status updates to leadership
• Standardize M&A accounting/integration processes to enable scalable future acquisitions
