Job summary

FedEx Logistics in California is seeking a warehouse operations support specialist to provide international forwarding and office support, delivering world‑class customer service and solutions to meet warehouse needs. You will assist with client onboarding, invoicing, and the management of CFS/FTZ documents, while ensuring accuracy and timely communication with customers and internal teams.

Participation in cost reviews, vendor payables, and cross‑functional coverage will be part of the role,

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant operational warehouse experience.
• Three (3) years or more of international freight forwarding and warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational & communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service by developing and maintaining a strong relationship with customers.
• Support inbound and outbound office functions including distribution, cross-dock, CFS, and FTZ.
• Assist with onboarding new clients on the warehouse management system and set up initial processes for customer service activities and invoicing.
• Manage the accuracy and integrity of CFS, FTZ and other business documents through the document life cycle.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and timely in accordance with the latest rate agreement.
• Assist in auditing cost sheets to ensure AS400 entries are accurate and that backup documents for invoicing are filed correctly.
• Coordinate and carry out warehouse and gateway activities efficiently.
• Help resolve transportation and invoicing issues with customers.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide necessary information, reports, and status updates.
• Resolve customer issues within warehouse SOP, customer rate agreement and company policy guidelines.
• Provide cross-support and coverage when required.
• Involved directly in billing activities.
• Responsible for review and submission for approval of vendor payables.
