Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in New Albany, OH is seeking a Training Specialist, Operations to coordinate and deliver required training programs on site. The position reports to Human Resources or Training Manager and covers quality control, safety, and logistics procedures.

You will develop role-specific competency training, maintain training records, conduct OJT, and ensure ISO and 5-Star standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years’ experience in warehousing/logistics preferred.
• 1-year clerical experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• English language skills (reading, writing, verbal); bilingual a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.
• Flexibility with scheduling; may require variable days/hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training courses required by DSV and clients.
• Develop competency training for systems and leadership development.
• Plan and deliver on-the-job training programs (OJT).
• Evaluate associates' skill levels and retrain as updates occur.
• Ensure training information is entered into the database.
• Maintain supply of forms, orientation packets, and safety materials.
• Ensure ISO and 5-Star compliance for training programs.
