Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Training Supervisor on site in Sterling, VA. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering required training programs, including safety, quality, and operational methods, to meet client and internal needs.

The position reports to the Operations Manager on site and requires 2 years in warehousing/logistics, plus training experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience in warehousing and/or logistics.
• 6 months training experience.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training courses required by DSV and clients.
• Develop competency training in systems, P&L management, and leadership.
• On-site orientation and refresher training for staff.
• Monitor KPIs for staff training and development plans.
• Plan and deliver on-the-job training programs to meet needs.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and safety documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations to align training with business goals.
