Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Logistics Systems Integration Lead in Morton, IL to drive end-to-end transportation solutions across multi-modal networks.

You will lead a team of transportation professionals, coordinate with internal and external partners, and apply best-practice processes to maximize efficiency in the Parts & Components network. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with Blue Yonder TMS and e2open GLO, plus strong SQL, Snowflake and Power BI skills; Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Experience with Blue Yonder TMS and e2open GLO.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, EDI/API, and Power BI.
• Six Sigma or Lean experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish transportation best practices and solutions for multi-modal, multi-leg end to end solutions.
• Apply process improvement tools and assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive solutions.
• Coordinate with transportation and operations functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvements.
• Evaluate logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concerns.
• Become a trusted solution subject matter expertise across BY TMS, e2open GLO, Data, Reporting, Nexus as part of the international transportation global solution.
