Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Logistics Systems Integration Lead to drive end-to-end transportation solutions globally. You will establish best practices, coordinate with operations, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver efficient logistics results.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data-driven decision making, and expertise in TMS systems and analytics. This onsite position requires strong collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective movement of materials.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams and building consensus across multiple functional areas.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation of materials and goods to/from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and customers.

  • Establish transportation best practices and solutions for multi-modal, multi-leg end to end solutions.
  • Apply process improvement tools and assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive solutions.

OurProduct Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar.In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is ourcustomers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. The Logistics Systems Integration Lead implements projects across a team of global transportation professionals, internal and external technology providers, and process partners delivering effective end to end solutions to maximize the efficiency of the International Transportation Parts & Components network.

What You Will Do:

What You Have (Basic Requirements):
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.
Top Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience with transportation of materials and goods to/from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and customers.
  • Progressively responsible experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Experience leading the design, prototype, and configuration of processes and solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to build consensus across multiple functional areas.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder TMS.
  • Experience with e2open GLO.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, EDI/API, and Power BI.
  • Six Sigma or Lean experience.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
