Job summary

3M is seeking a Sr Manager, Operations Excellence and PMO in Dekalb, IL, to lead cross-functional supply chain and distribution improvement initiatives within Global Logistics. You will drive PMO standards, coordinate multi-team projects, and mentor future leaders while partnering with business leaders on budget and scope.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain/operations excellence, PMP/Lean Six Sigma, and proven experience in managing complex projects in large organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business or related field.
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma related Project Management certification.
• Ten+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution, or operations excellence.
• Five+ years of experience in project leadership or operations excellence.
• Certifications in CSCP, CLTD, SC Pro or APICS.
• Experience with implementing automation in fulfillment/distribution centers.
• Transformation management experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and leadership, able to drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex cross-functional supply chain/logistics improvement initiatives.
• Drive project execution within distribution centers for efficiency, automation, and process optimization.
• Develop and maintain project management standards and best practices across the organization.
• Mentor and coach team leaders, provide training on PM tools and methodologies.
• Forecast budget with business leaders and manage approved project budgets.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
