Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Global Logistics Engineer to optimize transportation, warehouse topology, distribution, and supply chain processes across our global network. This role will improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen compliance, and support customer delivery requirements.

This individual contributor works with carriers, finance, IT, and regional teams to turn data into action and deliver scalable transportation solutions, often without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 4+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• 4+ years of implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• 4+ years of program or project management experience.
• Intermediate Excel skills with data handling and analysis capabilities.
• Experience defining program requirements using data to drive improvements.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application to logistics optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards providing end-to-end shipment visibility across global regions.
• Identify, quantify, and implement cost savings through rate analysis and automation.
• Track ROI and develop insight-driven leadership narratives.
• Drive root cause analysis on logistics failures and corrective actions.
• Model network topology, mode mix, and consolidation strategies to minimize landed cost.
