Job summary

Amazon Global Logistics is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own carrier supply economics and cost optimization for the 1P and 3P transportation network. You will quantify cost impacts, develop analytical frameworks, and drive cross-functional actions withAmazon Freight, Procurement, Finance, and Transportation Technology.

You will analyze 1P vs 3P economics, build cost models, and partner with procurement to refine bid strategies and capacity planning.

Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience.
3+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
2+ years of supply chain experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL experience.
Experience defining program requirements and using data/metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Own cost modeling and defect reporting for Freight operations, including cost prediction accuracy and rate benchmarking.
Quantify financial impacts of network changes and recommend adjustments.
Analyze 1P vs 3P carrier economics to inform carrier selection.
Build and maintain carrier performance frameworks (acceptance rates, on-time pickup, cost prediction errors).
Partner with Procurement to improve bid strategy and volume commitments.
Investigate capacity events and mode shifts to prevent cost leakage.
Audit carrier assignments and routing to quantify suboptimal costs.
Support quarterly and annual planning with cost entitlement sizing.
