Job summary

Alphagary, an Orbia business, in Leominster, MA, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the shipping, receiving and warehousing operations. You will develop shipping schedules, manage carrier relationships and ensure on-time deliveries within cost targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5 years of logistics/warehouse experience in manufacturing, DOT knowledge, and strong leadership and cost-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/transportation preferred.
• 5 years logistics/warehouse management in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of US and international shipping processes and DOT requirements.
• Experience with 3PL offsite warehouse management.
• Strong planning, organizing and cost-analysis skills.
• Ability to lead and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shipping schedules within budget.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and carrier performance.
• Manage receiving, warehousing, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Quality and Customer Service.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Lead and develop direct reports.
