Job summary

Rebel Athletic in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Manager to oversee shipments from origin to final delivery across domestic and international commerce. You will own freight execution, shipment visibility, customs coordination, and exception management.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to lead cost-efficient, compliant logistics. Hybrid work in Carrollton, with occasional travel between Rebel locations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of transportation experience.
• Experience with air, ocean, ground, and parcel shipping.
• Experience booking freight and managing international shipments.
• Knowledge of customs processes and shipping documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with tracking and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• High ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Rebel Athletic locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, ground, and parcel transportation.
• Book freight, coordinate pickups, and ensure adherence to routing guides.
• Track and trace shipments end to end, maintaining accurate ETAs and proactively communicating shipment risk.
• Own shipment exceptions through closure, including delays, damages, shortages, misroutes, claims, and documentation errors.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and ISFs.
• Partner with customs brokers to resolve clearance issues, holds, exams, discrepancies, and filing errors.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, Incoterms, HTS classifications, duties, country-of-origin requirements, and regulatory changes.
• Monitor customs bonds, renewals, and import program requirements.
• Manage Duty Drawback activities in coordination with U.S. Customs.
• Review, reconcile, and approve freight invoices against approved quotes.
• Track freight spend, shipment performance, and logistics KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in freight cost, transit time, visibility, and compliance.
