Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Logistics Acquisitions Specialist for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases in support of SAMD. The role covers cradle-to-grave logistics, LOA/LOR preparation, life-cycle planning, and coordination with foreign partners to ensure interoperability and mission success.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5–8+ years of relevant experience, with proven ability to brief senior management, manage cross-functional teams, and handle sensitive information, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience resolving highly sensitive and complex problems.
• Ability to prepare and brief senior management.
• Effective communication with internal/external customers and high-ranking officials.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and big-picture view.
• Experience with various database systems.
• Quality customer service with a mission-focused attitude.
• Familiarity with C5ISR systems (radios, NVDs, IT equipment).
• Military experience is a plus.
• Travel including OCONUS required.

Responsibilities

• Organize research of foreign government requirements.
• Prepare LOAs, identify material, services and shipping requirements; estimate lifecycle costs.
• Conduct technical reviews and analysis for LORs.
• Compute manpower for FMS cases.
• Develop FMS case notes and TPAs.
• Coordinate planning for weapon systems and release requirements.
• Receive, process and track requisitions; forecast congressional notifications.
• Support purchases, transfers and leases of weapon systems and technical documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field service activities to resolve logistics issues.
