FMS Financial Analyst – International Acquisitions

Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Financial Analyst in the Fort Meade, MD area to support the International Acquisitions Branch with FMS financial management, reconciliation, case closure, and process compliance in support of DISA’s international acquisition mission.

You will prepare funding documents, load data into FMS/BPC and related systems, coordinate with the DISA Comptroller and DFAS, maintain case files, and help develop FIAR-compliant processes and SOPs for approximately 60 monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of financial management experience.
• Experience with FMS-related systems (DSAMS, CISIL, SCIP).
• Understanding of DoD policies (SAMM, FAR).

Responsibilities

• Prepare funding documents and load data into FMS/BPC systems.
• Analyze vouchers and ensure accurate billing across DoD systems.
• Maintain case files, perform reconciliations, and coordinate with DISA/DFAS.
• Develop FIAR-related processes and maintain SOPs.
