Job summary

MIRASCO in Atlanta, GA is seeking an organized Documentation & Logistics Coordinator to ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery of mandatory shipping documents.

You will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, loaders and carriers, maintaining open communication and applying country rules to shipments while keeping documentation compliant and up to date.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of document/logistics experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; ability to read/write technical documents.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail for accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ability to follow procedures and handle multiple variables.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and track documents to ensure timely delivery.
  • Obtain all necessary shipping documents for export.
  • Create document drafts within hours of shipment for customer approval (except L/C).
  • Follow legalization procedures to ensure country conformity.
  • Maintain communication with customers about document status.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for shipments from various countries.
  • Stay updated on international trade rules and legalization requirements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners.

Job description

Work closely with suppliers, warehouses, loaders, carriers and other team members to coordinate shipment of documents related to the purchasing of goods. Document accuracy is vital; this role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation and timely delivery of necessary documents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and track documents to ensure timely delivery
  • Obtain all necessary shipping documents for the export of the cargo
  • Create all document drafts asap within hours of shipment sailing (except for L/C) for customer approval
  • Follow proper County, State, and/or Foreign Embassy legalization procedures to ensure country conformity
  • Maintain an open line of communication with customers so that they are aware of the status of their documents
  • Ensure accurate and on-time documentation for all shipments originating from various countries
  • Remain up to date with international trade rules and regulations as well as country legalization requirements
  • Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with all partners
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience

High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), and one to two-year related experience in documentation and/or logistics, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Professional Spanish & English fluency. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Math Ability

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Knowledge in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
