Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated seeks an Associate Director of Logistics Operations to lead end‑to‑end distribution for small molecule and biologics, including temperature‑controlled shipments, 3PL and carrier management, and import/export compliance. You will partner with Clinical Operations, QA, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product movement and issue resolution across the network.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics or manufacturing leadership in pharma.
• Experience with biological products and genetic/cell therapy is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of small molecule and biologics distribution, including API materials and finished products.
• Oversee 3PL relationships, carrier management, and GDP/compliance for domestic and international shipments.
• Develop and implement logistics network strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Monitor LSP performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and lifecycle management.
