Job summary

As a Linux Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee the Linux Engineering team, set technical direction, and maintain hands-on involvement across real-time trading environments and research compute.

Qualifications

Experience leading a team of engineers.
Deep knowledge of Linux internals and debugging.
Track record of solving performance issues under pressure.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Linux Engineering team; translate business needs into a roadmap and drive accountability across projects.
Own design, implementation, and operation of a global Linux infrastructure with focus on reliability, performance, and determinism.
Automate fleet operations and improve monitoring to reduce time-to-detect and time-to-recover.
Establish runbooks, incident response, and post-incident learning; mentor engineers on debugging and architecture.
Coordinate changes with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotation.
