Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager – Global License eCommerce to drive the global expansion of our e‑commerce business.

Based in our New York Design Office, this hybrid role will bridge internal teams and our global licensed partners to ensure brand consistency and scalable digital execution. You’ll build a digital playbook, optimize international storefronts, collaborate with merchandising and marketing, and guide partners on site merchandising and conversions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in International eCommerce or Digital Marketplace management.
• Ability to influence external partners and internal cross-functional teams.
• Experience taking domestic digital strategies and optimizing for diverse markets.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs and using data to guide site optimizations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and navigating cross-cultural partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to devise and execute strategies with stakeholders.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed.
• Willingness to align working hours with global partners.

Responsibilities

• Build & execute a digital playbook for the International customer globally.
• Drive commercial performance of digital channels across License partnerships.
• Assess Partner capabilities and steer toward omni-channel journeys.
• Establish the role of digital marketplaces within each Licensed partnership.
• Strategic management of marketing investments with ROI to drive traffic and conversion.
• Adapt US & Mexico digital strategies with international partners to grow traffic and performance.
• Oversee optimization of international licensed sites to align with brand standards.
• Serve as primary corporate lead for licensed partners with day-to-day guidance.
• Guide partners on site merchandising strategies to drive conversion and UPT.
• Collaborate with Global Merchandising, Marketing, Account Management and Technology to remove roadblocks.
