Job summary

Versigent in the United States is seeking a Manager, Legal Operations Programs & Governance to design, implement, and improve the operational processes that enable Global Legal & Compliance to operate efficiently across regions.

You will lead matter management, intake, litigation and eDiscovery operations, information governance, and SOP development, partnering with attorneys, HR, Finance, IT and business stakeholders to scale legal services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8 years of experience in Legal Operations, legal project management, legal administration, compliance operations, litigation support, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global legal departments or complex corporate functions.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Project management certification or training preferred (PMP, CAPM, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
• Experience with legal technologies including ONIT, legal holds platforms, matter management solutions, compliance systems, document repositories, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of legal operations initiatives supporting the department's operating model and strategic roadmap.
• Develop and maintain legal operations procedures, governance frameworks, and process documentation.
• Support development and execution of legal department operating rhythms, governance committees, project plans, and workstream reporting.
• Develop standardized operating procedures and governance controls supporting commercial, corporate, regulatory, privacy, IP, M&A, compliance, employment, and litigation functions.
• Coordinate process improvements across all legal practice groups and legal service delivery models.
• Support implementation and adoption of CLM-related workflows and business processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Legal, HR, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT.
