Job summary

Elesta, a private UHNWI Family Office, is seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join its Global Legal Team. This fully remote role reports to the Head of Legal and supports cross-border matters across LATAM, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, assess risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with external counsels and internal stakeholders to protect the family’s interests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in legal, ideally in international law firms/consulting.
• M&A and/or dispute resolution experience will be an advantage.
• Education: Bachelor degree in law; Master degree in law from a foreign university (LLM) (including pending) - students during their LLM studies could also be a good fit.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, cross-border legal projects across LATAM, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East, coordinating with external counsels and advisors to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies in close collaboration with senior management.
• Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance across all operating markets.
• Manage disputes and conflict resolution processes, advising internal stakeholders on exposure and strategy.
• Work alongside specialists in legal and finance to support the business across a wide range of matters.
