Job summary

Apple's Global Lease Accounting team manages leases worldwide, ensuring rigorous GAAP disclosures and compliance. The Global Lease Accountant will oversee accounting for all leases and support IFRS 16 and local GAAP as required.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years in accounting/finance, strong SAP/ERP expertise, and professional credentials such as CPA/ACCA. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with advanced degrees seen as a plus.

Within GBS, the Apple Finance organization partners with world-class professionals to support one of the most influential technology companies in the industry, known for its impressive line-up of products including Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The Global Lease Accountant will be responsible for accounting for all worldwide leases and US GAAP lease disclosures, and will support IFRS 16 and local GAAP lease accounting as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current experience in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization
• 3-5 years professional experience in accounting, finance, or similar field
• Excellent SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP experience.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of ASC 842, ASC 840, IFRS 16, and Local GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
