Allegion Canada Inc. seeks a Global Learning Technology Specialist to support the Global Allegion Learning Management System. You will work cross-functionally with HR, Talent, and leaders to translate needs into tech-enabled learning experiences and drive development for 13,000+ employees.

You will consult on learning needs, evaluate capabilities, and build engaging e‑learning solutions, aligning with global standards and regulatory requirements. Remote work with occasional on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years in Learning and Development/Training
• Experience with course design and development

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver e-learning content and revisions with SME input
• Advise on technical learning solutions and best practices for e-learning
• Assist in learning evaluation, surveys, and LMS assessments
• Support LMS configurations including SharePoint and related tools
• Provide LMS and business support across global users
• Perform learning needs analysis and stakeholder consultations
• Set up system notifications, enrollments, and regulatory alignment
• Support ServiceNow ticket resolution and SLA compliance
• Oversee channel, page, and catalog structure in the LMS
• Provide timely data for reporting and audits
• Support global learning power users and admins with features and reporting

Global Learning Technology Specialist‑Remote Indiana (Preferred Candidate would be within 1 hour of the Carmel, Indiana Office for in person work every few weeks.)

Job Summary:

Step into a pivotal role as our Global Learning Technology Specialist, where you will be part of a team supporting the technology behind the Global Allegion Learning Management System. You will collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Talent, and business leaders to translate complex business needs into innovative, tech‑enabled learning solutions. By consulting on learning needs, evaluating technical capabilities, and building dynamic learning experiences, you will directly impact the development and growth of our 13,000+ global employees.

What You Will Do:

• Content Creation and Tools Support SME led content development by overseeing the use of rapid authoring tools and tips for engaging learners
• Advise stakeholders on technical solutions for learning including best practices for e‑learning
• Support learning evaluation including survey, evaluation, and assessment options in the LMS
• Support learning requests requiring customized learning/external support incorporating appropriate technology solutions including SharePoint, Learning Hubs, and extended enterprise domains
• Learning Management System and Business Support
• Support the intake process, conduct tech learning needs analysis
• Recommend learning solutions based on learning needs analysis, including project plans
• Develop e‑learning content and/or support revisions to subject matter expert (SME) authored content
• Provide support for user generated content in the LMS by identifying and training SMEs as Channel owners/superusers
• Assist with setting up system notifications and enrollments to ensure onboarding, language needs, and regulatory standards are met, globally
• Support ServiceNow ticket resolution, meet team service level agreements (SLA) related to LMS issues
• Oversee and support the channel, page, and catalog structure in the LMS, making recommendations for standards and user support
• Data and Analytics Provide timely data for reporting and audit requirements
• Support report requests for stakeholders and admin network, identifying efficiency opportunities to scale the work
• Support the Global Learning power user and admin network with system features and reporting needs

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree; min 3 years’ experience working in Learning and Development/Training
• Experience with course design and development
• Technical skills including troubleshooting and ability to gain new technical skills quickly
• Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
• Proven ability to manage projects including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, delivering results, and proactively communicating updates to stakeholders
• Customer service skills, responsive attitude; strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including demonstrated proficiency with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with content development tools such as Articulate
• Coursework /certifications relating to LMS/Instructional Design preferred
• Experience working with a global organization with multiple languages
