3M in Livonia, MI seeks a Senior Global Manager, Application Engineering – Electrical Architecture & Electronics (EA&E) to lead a global team across Automotive, Commercial Vehicles and Rail, including display films. Shape system-level strategy, engage OEMs and Tier suppliers, and translate market insights into scalable architectures and NPI opportunities to accelerate Transportation growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher completed before start.
Seven+ years in Application Engineering, systems engineering or product development in a technical field.

Responsibilities

Lead a global team of Application Engineers for EA&E across Automotive, Commercial Vehicles and Rail.
Collaborate with Customer Solutions Architect to define technology roadmap and translate market insights into differentiated solutions.
Develop modular, platform-based EA&E architectures enabling reuse across vehicle platforms and product lines.
Lead global customer interactions for automotive display films with OEMs and Tier suppliers.
Prioritize NPI opportunities and growth programs based on customer and market insights.
Drive consistent operating practices, capability development, and knowledge sharing across teams.
