Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr.

Director of Semiconductor Sourcing and NPI Procurement to lead global strategy, sourcing, and supplier ecosystems for wafer foundry, IP/EDA, and NAND controller categories, with accountability for cost competitiveness and supply resilience across the semiconductor value chain. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and business leaders to drive category strategies, supplier performance, and risk mitigation at the enterprise level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of experience across semiconductor manufacturing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Global/enterprise leadership experience driving cross-functional outcomes.
• Experience managing complex supplier ecosystems and outsourced manufacturing models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global procurement strategies for wafer foundry services, IP/EDA services, discrete semiconductors, and NAND controller categories.
• Drive stage-gate reviews to ensure multi-sourcing, part reuse, and golden part usage.
• Lead category management to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive performance accountability across ecosystems.
• Ensure supply assurance via proactive capacity planning, demand-supply alignment, and risk mitigation.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing including negotiations, contract management, and supplier governance.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives to achieve best-in-class total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to support product and technology needs.
• Develop and scale a high-performing global procurement organization; mentor leaders.
• Establish KPIs and governance frameworks for procurement and supplier performance.
