Micron Technology, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Director of Semiconductor Sourcing and NPI Procurement to lead global strategy, sourcing, and supplier ecosystems for wafer foundry services, IP/EDA services, discrete semiconductors, and NAND controllers.

You will drive cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and risk mitigation across the semiconductor value chain, partner with engineering and manufacturing, and build a high‑performing, globally distributed procurement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.
15+ years of experience across semiconductor manufacturing, procurement, or supplier management.
Global or enterprise leadership experience driving cross-functional outcomes.
Experience managing complex supplier ecosystems and outsourced manufacturing models.

Responsibilities

Define and execute global procurement strategies for wafer foundry services, IP/EDA services, and NAND controllers.
Drive adherence to New Product Introduction metrics across sourcing teams.
Lead category management for cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships with accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure supply assurance through proactive capacity planning and risk mitigation.
Lead end-to-end sourcing execution including negotiations and contract management.
