Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an Associate Director, Supply Chain Management in the United States to lead end-to-end launch execution for new products in major markets.

You will drive cross-functional teams across Value Chain Management, Development and Commercialization Teams, and Global Event Management to ensure on-time supply and seamless transitions to sustaining owners. Strong communication and program leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in supply chain, launch planning, and/or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional/cross-divisional teams.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Lean mindset and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional launch teams from prep through hypercare to sustaining owners.
• Align launch plans with GFLS and Supply Chain Design requirements.
• Develop launch supply scenarios with planning and operations modeling teams.
• Identify launch risks, develop mitigations, and drive resolution.
• Support business continuity planning for assigned products.
• Assist in cross-functional Global Event Management for supply interruptions.
