Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. is seeking an attorney to join the Legal Department as Counsel, Labor, Employment and Benefits. This role handles enterprise-wide labor, employment, and benefits matters and partners with senior leaders worldwide.

A dynamic SME who builds cross-functional relationships and provides practical risk-based advice is ideal. The role requires a JD, bar admission, and experience across domestic and international employment law.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited institution.
• Bar admission in good standing in at least one state.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience at a large law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Experience advising on labor, employment, and benefits issues.
• Experience with contested employment law matters (EEOC proceedings/lawsuits).
• Experience advising senior business leaders on employment law matters and strategic goals.
• Strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day counseling on all labor and employment legal issues for all functions globally.
• Provide counseling and legal support to Total Rewards on global benefits issues.
• Advise on leaves and accommodations.
• Develop strategy and negotiate resolution of employment disputes.
• Advise on risks related to employment law claims.
• Develop policies and training to meet employment law requirements.
