Job summary

BD in the United States seeks an experienced Employment Counsel to serve as a strategic partner to HR and senior leaders across global business units and corporate functions. You will provide practical employment-law advice, manage risk, and oversee litigation, investigations, and budgetary control.

This role collaborates with Finance, Compliance, and business leadership to drive workforce initiatives, design incentive programs for sales teams, and update policies.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited school and in good standing in state permitting in-house practice
• Minimum 7–10 years employment-law experience in major firm or corporate dept
• Experience counseling HR and leaders on complex employment matters across multi-state environments

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, strategic employment-law advice to HR and leaders across U.S. organizations
• Lead employment litigation/ investigations and manage outside counsel
• Develop and oversee workforce initiatives, restructurings, and compliance programs
• Design incentive compensation plans for sales teams and advise on related policies
• Manage budgets and internal resources for employment-law program
