Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a LEAN & Advanced Test Methods Supervisor to lead modernization across global VEV test laboratories and facilities. You will drive KPI-based improvements in powertrain, electrical, body/chassis, safety, NVH, and more, while guiding a global team of lean project managers and advanced test method engineers.

You will own labor forecasting for a 2,300-person workforce and help standardize Ford's LEAN Maturity Model across laboratories worldwide, with a horizon to capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5–8 years of technical engineering and operations experience.
• Broad facility, laboratory, engineering, and test experience.
• Experience with test execution, sensors and measurements, data analysis and reporting.
• Electrical/simulation environment experience supporting advanced test methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a central team to modernize Ford's global test facilities across regions.
• Drive KPI-based improvements in capability and cost across multiple domains.
• Lead 5–8 direct LEAN project managers and 4–5 for Advanced Test Methods.
• Own labor forecasting and productivity for a 2,300-person workforce.
• Adapt and standardize the Ford LEAN Maturity Model for laboratories.
• Optimize a $5B asset footprint and plan capital investments over 5 years.
