Job summary

Genentech, Inc. in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to support GMP environments for QC labs and manufacturing IPC.

You will manage network infrastructure, client hardware, OS, and endpoint security, coordinating with global teams to ensure compliant, standardized solutions. The role requires 5+ years of related experience, Active Directory and SCCM expertise, and strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in GMP IT support environments.
• Certifications for desktop and applications support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support in GMP environments related to network infrastructure, client hardware, OS, endpoint security and vendor software.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves issues or escalates to customers as needed.
• Maintains lifecycle of local systems and clients, including patching and licenses, coordinating with providers and customers.
• Installs and configures local desktop and client-server systems with global teams.
• Maintains up-to-date local documentation and procedures.
• Adheres to ITIL processes and GMP processes like Change Management and Documentation Practices.
• Collaborates with stakeholders locally and globally across ITOT and vendors.
• Collects requirements for QC lab and manufacturing IPC solutions and aligns with global standards.
• Drives implementation of new technologies in line with Roche's frameworks and data integrity capabilities.
