Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in engineering with thermal processing of materials.
• Experience in high-temperature firing of ceramics; vacuum furnaces a plus.
• Lean, Six Sigma or TOC process-improvement methods applied in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex firing process issues and equipment-related problems.
• Interface with firing equipment manufacturers from specs to deployment.
• Lead technology transfers and yield-improvement initiatives.
• Improve manufacturing processes; drive safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage projects and mentor plant engineering and manufacturing teams.
