CoorsTek is seeking a Sr. Global Process Engineer - Firing SME to lead firing processes globally. You will serve as the engineering SME, oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and technology transfers, and drive yield improvements across capital systems.

A strong background in ceramic firing and thermal processing is required. You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvements, while traveling domestically and internationally to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Ceramic Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for problem solving activities for complex issues that involve the firing process and associated equipment.
• Act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on projects.
• Execute technology transfers to meet production requirements.
• Manage projects including training and guiding plant engineering and manufacturing team members.
• Increase process efficiency by applying Lean, TOC, Six Sigma or other TQM methodologies.
• Travel 20-35% regularly (up to 50% at times).
• Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee or Hillsboro, OR or Golden, CO.
