Job summary

Q-Lab Corporation is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant to support the monthly close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will help maintain a multi-entity fixed asset system and assist with payables/receivables and KPI reporting.

The role reports to the Controller and involves analytical tasks, inventory cost management, and ad hoc reporting. This entry-level position offers growth within a global manufacturing environment at our Westlake, Ohio headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or accredited lab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries.
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Learn and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Involved in the analysis of financial information.
• Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns.
• Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports.
• Assist in annual planning process.
• Maintain fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries.
• Assist in inventory cost management and G/L reconciliation to internal inventory system.
• Ad hoc reporting as needed.
