Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a senior IT audit professional to own SAP ICFR controls and SOX governance across SAP ECC and S/4 environments. You will partner with GIS IT and external auditors to design automated controls and ensure compliant ITGCs within a global SAP landscape.

The role requires 10–15 years of IT audit experience, Big 4 background, CPA/CISA certification, and the ability to lead teams while delivering risk-based audit programs in a semiconductor company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/MIS.
• CPA/CISA/CIA certification preferred.
• 10–15 years IT audit / risk advisory experience.
• Big 4 external audit background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert on SAP ICFR and IT controls within the SOX PMO, coordinating with GIS on automated controls and key reports.
• Liaise with external auditors to align SAP control direction and minimum requirements.
• Lead IT audits including IT security, access controls, disaster recovery, and lab/physical security.
• Participate in SAP S/4 implementation to ensure control automation and optimized ICFR.
• Conduct real-time system assessments to ensure SDLC controls and audit requirements are in place.
