Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a Category Manager – IT, Production & EOL Equipment to lead global sourcing strategies across IT and production equipment. You will drive cost optimization, supplier innovation, and digitalization while collaborating with IT, Operations, Engineering, R&D, Finance and regional procurement teams.

The role emphasizes end-to-end sourcing activities, performance management, and risk mitigation within a fast-growing EV charging technology leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5+ years of procurement or category management experience with IT procurement focus.
Strong knowledge of IT sourcing models including software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, hardware, infrastructure, and IT services.

Responsibilities

Define, own, and execute global category strategies for IT, Production Equipment, and EOL Equipment.
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: supplier selection, RFx, negotiations, and contract management.
Identify cost optimization opportunities through spend analysis, demand management, and TCO approaches.
Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships with leading technology vendors and equipment providers.
Collaborate with IT, Operations, Engineering, R&D, Finance and regional procurement teams to implement category strategies.
